Visiting the website

When you visit the website, a web hosting provider in Germany processes technical connection data on our behalf. This includes your IP address, the time of the request, and the resource requested. The data is used to deliver the website and defend it against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. The hosting provider keeps visitors’ IP addresses for up to seven days to detect and prevent attacks.

Cookies and analytics

The website code does not set cookies or include analytics or advertising services.

If you choose Light or Dark, your browser saves that preference locally for this website. The setting is not sent to us. It remains saved until you select System again or clear this website’s data in your browser.

Contact by email or contact form

When you email us, we process the sender’s email address, the message, and any attachments. When you use the contact form, we need your email address and message to handle your inquiry and respond. The legal basis for contractual or pre-contractual inquiries is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other inquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is handling your inquiry.

We handle inquiries in our company inbox. An email hosting provider in Germany processes the messages on our behalf.

When you submit the form, we check that you have acknowledged this privacy notice. We do not store that confirmation separately.

We delete inquiries once the data is no longer needed to handle them or respond to any follow-up questions, unless a legal retention requirement or another continuing reason to keep the data applies.

Abuse prevention

To protect the contact form, we process a pseudonymized identifier derived from the IP address and details of submission attempts. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Once the monitoring period ends, the data is overwritten on the next valid submission attempt.
